Chocolate Coffee Smoothie

This delicious smoothie contains a good amount of protein, calcium, fiber and antioxidants!

Serves 1 and contain approximately 300 calories/17g fat/13g protein/28g carbs/6g fiber/121mg sodium

3 pitted, chopped dates (place in small bowl, cover with hot water and let sit for 15 minutes)

1 cup unsweetened cold-brew coffee

1/2 cup ice

1/4 cup plain, nonfat, greek yogurt

2 Tbsp almond or cashew butter

1 1/2 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder

pinch of ground cardamom

Blend all ingredients in blender and serve. Toppings are optional

Optional toppings: blueberries, coconut and cacao nibs
